About David Bright

I'm the Manager of IT Service Management at Nobis Rehabilitation Partners. As a new company, I'm proud to be in an organization that allows ideas and best practices to be molded for our future hospitals. It's really exciting to build something from the bottom up and implement those technologies into our hospitals. My mission is to ensure our employees have the best experience when using technology and handling problems they may encounter with it. My previous position was a Technical Analyst troubleshooting various technical problems that included applications, desktop hardware, printers, connectivity, and mobile devices. A lot of my passion comes from figuring out how things work. My responsibility ensured employees worked with tools effectively and efficiently that helped them do their job in the corporate environment and hospitals throughout the country. As a veteran that served 20 years in the Air Force with an aerospace maintenance background, my technical background, and leadership skills were adapted to Information Technology. I've worn many hats in my career-maintenance technician, instructor, manager, service desk, and technical support analyst. As a result, my diverse background has helped broaden my skills to become a strong troubleshooter and leader that shows a sense of urgency while working. My can-do attitude ensures that whatever task or project I work on gets finished quickly. I pride myself as the go-to person when my peers get stumped on something or someone to teach them new things. I recently graduated from WGU in early 2021 with a Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSITM) degree. I'm hoping to leverage my degree for new opportunities in leadership roles. I also received my Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification. You may find value in my background including leadership skills inherited from my military career and leadership training from the non-commissioned officer academy. I use a transformational leadership style that focuses on people and mission.
