About David Brooks

I currently serve as the Director of Service Assurance with a focus on ITSM, driving continuous improvement and optimizing customer value. Prior to this, I supported the Global Security Organization at TikTok as the Security Governance Lead. I previously specialized in audit quality and regulatory oversight in the US and abroad, and in leading globally diverse teams. I supported EY's audit quality program as a leader in our Monitoring and Inspections team. In this role I coached executives and teams to successfully defend the quality of their audits to external regulators. I also used my experience to support our audit quality leaders as they developed and evolved audit quality standards for the US- and PCAOB-related audits worldwide. In addition to my responsibilities with audit quality for EY, I supported a portfolio of clients, and have over 16 years of experience managing the audit lifecycle for accounts in the US and UK, including developing IT risk and controls strategy, overseeing the execution of external and internal audit for large, global enterprises, and measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management programs. I am very passionate about coaching and supporting the development of young professionals.
