About David Brown

With over four and a half years of experience in market research as well as a Master of Arts in Research Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, I am well versed in research protocols and procedures, having worked on many studies and surveys throughout my career. I am highly qualified to contribute to all stages of the primary research process, from questionnaire design to data analysis and generation of conclusions and recommendations. I am also well-versed in a wide variety of secondary research methods, from literature reviews to internet searches. In my career, I have also managed many different research projects from the data gathering phase to the analysis and write-up phases. I know how to field, manage and run several different types of research projects and am always looking for new types of research to help me expand and hone my skills. As an accomplished public speaker, I have over 20 years of experience in speaking and presenting to audiences of varying sizes and compositions. I am versed in writing and giving prepared speeches as well as in more impromptu methods of speaking. I have also coached high school students on how to give both prepared and extemporaneous speeches. I am as experienced in the written word as the spoken word and have extensive experience in writing, proofreading and editing papers, reports and presentations. I have worked on dozens of reports and presentations during my career and my editing work is so good that a former employer said it required her to improve her writing in order to keep up. I enjoy teaching and am thoroughly experienced in the training of fellow employees. At Redhill Group, I was in charge of training our phone and field interviewers in the general principles of research as well as the specifics of each individual research project. I specialize in coming up with teaching/training techniques that are innovative, entertaining and interactive.
