About David Bru

In my work, I enjoy travelling and, above all, working in international environments. Doing business with people from different cultures and countries is my speciality, complemented by a master’s in international business from ESCI-UPF. At OPTRAL, I began as an Export Area Manager, opening new markets and strategic clients in EMEA and Asia. The growth in export sales allowed me to lead a fantastic team of specialist in value-added fiber optic cables. I take great satisfaction in sharing my knowledge about fiber optic cables with clients, offering customized solutions and competitive products. Fiber optics is one of my passions and enables me to work in very interesting markets. Beyond telecommunications, a highly motivating challenge has been developing fiber optic solutions for acoustic and temperature sensing and monitoring (DTS, DAS, and DTSS). Currently, one of my interests is the digital marketing with SEM, SEO strategies, lead generation, and CRM optimization. Adaptability is a skill that empowers us to thrive in a constantly changing world. I have developed these skills in part due to my passion for mountaineering and climbing, where the key to success is knowing your strengths and anticipating challenges.
