What do Blackhawk helicopter pilots and Financial Advisors have in common? Planning, planning and planning! I believe that proper prior-planning can prevent many of the pitfalls that investors face, this is why I obtained the industry respected designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM Common between my two careers is putting safety first and paying attention to detail. Which is exactly what I do for my clients everyday. I became a Financial Advisor in 1995 with Dean Witter. In 2009 I joined UBS and I am currently a Senior Vice President-Wealth Management. I earned the UBS designation Wealth Advisor, am a discretionary Portfolio Manager in the Portfolio Management Program, and I am one of a select group of CIMA® qualified UBS Institutional Consultants working with Institutional accounts greater than in value. I graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1988. For seven years I was a Blackhawk Helicopter pilot, a Company Commander, and I served in the first Gulf War. I was privileged to see history in the making while I was stationed in West Germany when the Berlin Wall came down.
