About David Burnes

For over 30 years I have led a team of financial services professionals to build, develop and manage all elements of a dynamic, entrepreneurial and client focused financial services operations outsourcing business. After leaving NBCN in 2012 I joined Raymond James to further my passion for developing new affiliation options for independent advisors and boutique financial service firms. Raymond James was a natural choice for me as the values and culture of the firm aligned very closely with my own values and together we shared a common vision on how to build a business that would ensure the long term success of our partners, stakeholders and, most importantly, our customers. Throughout my career I have always focused on building a profitable, high quality and cost effective outsourcing business that has defined the standard in our industry. Through this experience I have developed an in-depth understanding of client needs, market trends and developments, and the competitive marketplace in which we operate. None of this would have been possible without an effective team. As a result I have focused on developing and motivating a high-performing team of professionals, focused on the creation of customer value through a high quality service culture.
