About David Burnett

I'm a very driven person when it comes to my career and life outside of work. I have 24 years of law enforcement experience with 20 years in investigations. I've worked financial crimes, burglary and theft, sex crimes, severe child abuse, narcotics, and homicide cases. Over the last 12 years I have been a Reserve Special Agent with the Coast Guard Investigative Service (CGIS). While in the Coast Guard I have attended Dignitary Protection Schools at G4S and at FLETC and have participated in many details. I maintain a Top Secret Clearance. In 2006 I attended the National FBI Academy and Graduated with session 224. In 2007 I graduated from Mcneese State University in Criminal Justice. Most recently I have become a Certified Polygrapher in the State of Louisiana. Outside of work I love the outdoors and have recently purchased a 42 foot Endeavour Center Cockpit sailboat. I love sailing and being on the water. In life if you don't push yourself then be prepared to just be average. I'm not average.
