About David Buskirk

Ever since starting a landscaping business with my twin brother in 5th grade that would go on to serve dozens of residential and commercial clients, the entrepreneurial experience and the process of business have always been a keen interest. Witnessing and being mentored by other successful businessmen has spurred my passion for reaching others through business, and has inspired me to pursue how a business can change the life of those whom it serves. That same spirit of initiative led to the pursuit of leadership opportunities in which I could be fulfilled by serving others. Getting to serve my peers as Chaplin and President of my fraternity as well as getting to serve as an executive member for the Oklahoma State Into the Streets organization has allowed me to practice the soft skills of business as well as make an impact on my community, which ultimately fulfills me. The desire to serve and a heart to reach others in all areas of life originated from having the opportunity to participate in Christian ministry for over a decade. Having the pleasure of serving as a camp counselor, youth pastor, and even teacher overseas has helped me thoroughly enjoy counseling others through difficult life situations with empathy, compassion, and creativity. The desire to make a tangible impact in the lives of others has led me to pursue business through my education and ministry through my interests and hobbies. In this next stage of life, I am seeking opportunities to gain practical experience in serving others through business.
