Responsible for the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) programs at Wilmington University. Developed, instituted, and directs Wilmington University’s WIL program by means of developing and executing a strategic organizational/employer relationship development plan focused on establishing experiential learning opportunities; placement of students into required co-op and internships; providing guidance to students and alumni in developing, evaluating and implementing career goals and job placement opportunities; managing the College of Experiential Learning (COEL) Specialists; advising senior administrators on experiential learning trends; working closely with Career Services, the University Partnerships Center, and Academic Advising. These WIL positions are an invaluable way for Wilmington University students to gain professional experience to complement the strong academic fundamentals they learn in the classroom and online. Lead, support, and communicate prior learning pathways with new and transfer students including counseling on prior learning options, degree programs, student service offerings, and institutional academic requirements and policies. Manage, train, and develop CPL employees.
