About David Carew

A fully trained chef, I started my career working in the Australian beef industry as a marketing and product consultant and was involved in the development of the first branded beef product in Australia – a product that is still highly acclaimed among industry. I have worked in processing facilities, value added plants, supermarkets, hotels and restaurant chains around the world. My speciality is working with red meat, utilisation, innovation, designing new products and have built and refurbished numerous food processing facilities in both Australia and Asia. I have six Australian Innovation awards using red meat with extensive knowledge in processing, cutting and cooking of red meat Specialties: Thorough understanding of all proteins.
