About David Carrigan

It has been a long road to being a successful Multifamily Professional. Starting my career in security and later corrections in my late teens I quickly grew through the ranks, being awarded a supervisor role at only 19 years old, being the youngest supervisor ever promoted in the history of IPC International. At 21, I continued this success through a decorated career in the corrections industry, showing a natural talent in leadership, conflict resolutions, and staff relations. I made the switch to real estate with the intention of going to school to get my real estate license, and venturing into going into business for myself. However, I quickly realized that 6 months without a commission would not be conducive to raising a family. Taking my education into the multifamily side, and earning my stripes through temp agencies and door to door sales of insurance, I landed a job as a leasing agent. After a year and hungry for more, a lack of internal growth opportunities led me to my current employer. I was hired as an assistant manager, and in under a year and a half I became a property manager, who now manages a property of 172 units single-handedly. I am a master of routine, and multitasking, with a successful track record of beating budgets and deadlines. My current area of expertise is leading our team to success with an intended focus on investor and resident satisfaction. I have experience dealing with both owners and investors personally, and I know how to conduct myself in a confident and professional manner. I am highly intelligent and adaptable to any situation. As a problem solver, I also do not believe in problems, I believe in solutions.
