My skills allow me to not only evaluate and develop plans to correct processes but the ability to implement and train team members the new steps and expectations. Through motivation, empowerment and confidence building, the people learning theses new processes develop a sense of pride, which promotes sustainability. Even early in my career process improvement, space allocation, system implementation and training were a natural strength. I worked in a warehouse/distribution center for the automotive aftermarket and was assigned to work in the “bulk area”. After a couple of weeks, I approached my boss about staying late and reorganizing to be more efficient. The next week, I was able to increase line item pull rates by four times the chart's highest level. Due to this success I was asked to travel to the three warehouses in MS, AL and LA to assess the operation, develop a plan, and implement it, while training the warehouse staff on efficient practices.
