About David Catriel

My software and team management career has included working with several programming languages, database architectures, documentation projects and teams. One of my main strengths is the overhauling of existing systems by analyzing their current business requirements (both technical and non) and finding ways of improving them such as bringing in new programming techniques, improving documentation, creating knowledge backups, automating tests, etc. Another main focus is in finding ways for a team to work better and more efficiently by proactively looking for inefficiencies, getting members to think outside of the box, improving communications, etc- Programming languages: C#, ADO.Net, Entity framework, SQL, Visual Basic, HTML, C, Cobol (IBM and Tandem) Reporting: Crystal Reports, Active Reports, Visual Studio reports Data: SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access, XML Leadership: Capable of working both autonomously and leading a team of developers. Experienced in team management and as a Scrum Master. Specialties: Documentation, analysis of existing systems in preparation for rewrites, implementation of different techniques to speed up processing, testing, database schema analysis and cleanup, team leadership.
