With over 8 years of experience in the environmental services industry, I am a Shift Team Leader at Veolia, the global leader in optimized resource management. I oversee the operations and maintenance of the Newhaven Energy Recovery Facility (ERF), which processes tonnes of municipal waste per year and generates enough electricity to power homes. I apply my mechanical engineering skills and attention to detail to ensure the optimal performance and safety of the plant and its equipment. I also collaborate with a team of shift plant operators, technicians, and engineers to deliver high-quality service to our clients and stakeholders. I am passionate about environmental sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. I am always looking for ways to improve our processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
