About David Chambers

UK trained professional engineer and project manager with international experience in the safe and sustainable generation of energy and climate mitigation through carbon accounting. I am passionate about nature and the way people interact with their environment and through my love of travel, outdoors pursuits and trekking have experienced how people use their resources in different cultures around the world. My travels, and work in New Zealand especially, has helped me to start to gain a global perspective of energy use, and its quantification in terms of greenhouse gas accounting, in areas beyond power generation such as agriculture, sustainable housing, forestry, waste management and transport. I am a social person and thrive in a team environment, whether leading or contributing. I enjoy roles where I am given the opportunity to teach and mentor others both internally within a business or in the wider community.Looking for roles which provide benefits to people, the environmental and the wider community.Experience Summary (Engineering and Project Management)- Wind- BESS- Gas Power Stations- Gas Processing- Carbon Accounting for Organisations- Forestry Carbon Calculations- Environmental Educational Projects
