Born and raised in Tarrytown, New York, David received his B.A. from Wesleyan University and his MBA in International Business from the University of Maryland in College Park. David Chun began at World Sport Group in 2008- as Vice President of Business Development based in Singapore. As Managing Director, he opened the WSG Seoul Office in 2011, and beginning in 2016, was appointed Vice President, Corporate Partnerships- Asia Over the past several years, WSG Korea represented Korean professional golfers including US PGATOUR player Sang Moon Bae, Meen Whee Kim, & Bio Kim, in addition to servicing the OneAsia Tour throughout East Asia. David is responsible for managing all of our key Korean commercial relationships for global Lagardere properties, in addition to providing consulting services and local activation for Lagardere’s consulting clients (Bridgestone, CITI, & Allianz) in events such as the President’s Cup in Songdo, Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games in 2018, and Tokyo Olympics in 2020. David, his wife Hyojung, and two children, Sydney and Ryan, live in Gangnam, Seoul, Korea.
