About David Clark

I am an "Old School with a legit handshake" Guy, by choice. I am also a self-driven, self-starter that does what I commit too, even without a written contract-). I began my Transportation & Logistics career with UPS, Roadway Express and Yellow Freight to pay my way through college in 1985. I also played baseball at Meridian Jr. College and Belhaven College, a small college in Jackson, MS while attending those schools. Upon graduation in 1991, I traveled the U.S.A as a National Account Representative for McCarty Farms (Tyson) and later Sanderson Farms. In the mid 90’s, I returned to the transportation industry as a Transportation Rep. for Conway Southern Express (CSE), Cooper and eventually Katt Worldwide Logistics. In 2007, I chose the role of "Dad" so I could be home more, and with an awesome Team of loyal believers we opened a Private Client,"Client Centric" Property & Casualty Insurance Firm (The Clark Group Insurance, Inc.) in Brandon, MS that serviced special clients that were not looking for "Industry Standard" in the Southeastern U.S.A. The Firm was sold in September of 2020. Thankfully, I received a call from my childhood friend Mike Kattawar, Jr. in December of 2022. I rejoined Mike and our awesome Teams across our Brands, on January 7th of 2023 as a U.S.A. Business Development guy for all of Mike's Companies. If you are looking for a partner that still believes the workday does not stop at 4:59 and a guy that does not buy into this zero human contact "New Normal" we all have to navigate these days.
