About David Cole

I've been with the City of Calgary a number of years now. I have worked my way thru the ranks from laboring to becoming a foremen and running various seasonal maintenance and construction crews. The city has given me the opportunity to work all over learning the city and expanding my skills. When not at work I show cutting horses and ride when ever I can,when riding horses and working with young ones you have to start out on a clean slate, you must work with the horse to receive the desired outcome, sometimes its easy and others it isn't, its very similar to running a crew of workers, everyone is different and requires a different approach. I enjoy the outdoors, I'm an avid hunter I enjoy the ability to be out with nature, and being able to provide my family with food. Camping, trail riding and fishing add to my out door experience. I enjoy to travel, having traveled across Canada and the USA multiple times and then flying over to Europe to Ireland and then Greece has given me a new knowledge base, watching and learning how others complete work and improved ways of doing jobs. I always find the glass is half full, you can always add to it and learn from it. I enjoy being busy and being challenged in my tasks whether its work or riding horses, no 2 jobs or horses are the same and I must learn how each works to get the end result I'm looking for
