About David Collins

I bring over 15 years of experience in financial services, specializing in operations and administration. My career began as a co-op student while completing my studies at the University of Prince Edward Island. That opportunity led to a decade of diverse experience in back-office operations and marketing, where I developed a solid foundation in financial services. I later transitioned into a role as a Financial Advisor, where I quickly advanced to a key position in sales support and operations. During this time, I served as the primary support lead for a financial center, assisting leadership teams and providing operational support to multiple advisors across Atlantic Canada. In my current role as Manager of Operations and Administration at CU Financial Management, I oversee a wide range of critical functions, including IT, HR, marketing, and finance. I’m passionate about improving processes, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Leading a team of six Associates, I focus on coaching, development, and ensuring operational excellence to help drive both organizational goals and client success. Outside of work, I enjoy road trips and capturing scenic landscapes with my drone. I’m also a passionate foodie who loves experimenting in the kitchen and discovering great local dining spots.
