About David Cooper

I joined the navy in 2009. I attended NUC MM A school. I unfortunately didn't make it through and was re-rated to EN. The navy sent me to school for EN where upon graduating I served in Bahrain for two years. In 2013 I transferred from Bahrain as an MM due to the navy realigning its ratings. As a MM I went to a schools called ECS, expeditionary combat school, which is required for Coastal Riveron Squadrons. While on board CRS I attended RCS and RCC both being advanced riverine schools. At the end of my tour at CRS I submitted a package to become RDC or Recruit Division Commander. RDC's are navy drill instructors. I started in 2016 where I went to school to become an Instructor and then a RDC. Outside the navy, while on deployment in 2015, I learned to scuba dive in Dubai. I quickly learned more skills and in 2018 I became a PADI divemaster.
