David Cowan is the founder and Managing Partner at Tribal Ledgers, LLC, an accounting services and consulting firm focused exclusively on cloud-based business systems. David has over thirty years of experience in automating the routine, repetitive aspects of a business based on his research and analysis of the latest technology. While currently assisting retail, ecommerce and inventory-reliant businesses, his experience includes operations and accounting management in the consulting, retail, hospitality and airline industries. David has also provided several years of forensic accounting and litigation support to bankruptcy trustees and court-appointed receivers, as well as assisting in fraud investigations at the federal and state level. The passion found in start-up and growing businesses inspires him to assist in seeking new opportunities for his firm and his customers. A constant learner, David is always researching and learning the latest tools and processes to help business become profitable and to be able to scale, no matter what comes their way. David holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Georgia State University and is a licensed CPA. A native to Georgia and the metro-Atlanta area, he enjoys good conversations with friends and being outdoors as much as possible.
