About David Coxson

A principal at Cunningham | Quill Architects leading the Charlotte office, Mr. Coxson has extensive experience in all phases of design and construction of high‐profile, urban civic and institutional projects of all scales, including museums, theaters, higher-education buildings, courthouses, as well as multi‐family, single‐family, commercial and interior projects. No matter the project type or scale, Mr. Coxson focuses on creating beautiful architecture which goes above and beyond to meet the clients’ program needs and budget. A licensed architect, a member of the NC & DC Chapters of the AIA and of ULI Charlotte, David focuses his time on being an active and positive member of the AEC and CRE communities. David holds a Master of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Colgate University.
