I am motivated explorer in multiple fields throughout my professional and private life with a desire to be continually challenged. I have strong skills in negotiation, team building and development in challenging environments. I have worn many hats throughout my working career – Pastry Cook, Printer, Professional Fisherman, Marine pilotage, Marriage Celebrant Photographer, Pyro technician, multiple business owner, Mining Safety Professional, Operations Manager, Coal Exploration Site Superintendent, Department coordinator. As a result I have a strong ability to manage projects with multiple facets and deal with complex challenges in all environments. Through all of my work my vision has always been to build workforces with groups of forward thinking, outside the box team members that value safety, integrity, excellence and teamwork as integral parts of any work system, which I have always achieved through ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. • I make things happen through organising people (myself included) • I set maintain extremely high standards • I am an energetic person with great ambition and am driven by results • I run towards fires whilst staying calm • My passion is the development of effective systems to get the job done Having lived in remote communities for over 20 years my ability to adapt to ever changing situations plus my ability to forecast and resolve challenges is tested and proven. One of my greatest passions in working with different teams of people is to develop the skills of each individual for their career development and the business’s continual improvement.
