About David Crawford

I am a CPA, Chartered Director and Environmental Professional with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations align finance, governance and sustainability to create long-term value. My work focuses on translating complex risk, data and stakeholder expectations into practical strategy, disciplined execution and measurable outcomes. I bring a combination of financial leadership, board perspective and sustainability expertise to organizations operating in asset-intensive and high-stakes environments. As Director and Chief Financial Officer of Novem Digital Inc, I oversee finance, strategy and risk for a digital-risk platform supporting real estate, insurance and infrastructure clients across North America. Through predictive analytics and IoT-driven insights, we help clients reduce total cost of risk, improve asset performance and advance ESG objectives. I am also Co-Founder of Innovative Modular Structures, an Indigenous majority-owned company delivering modular buildings with speed, cost certainty and strong community alignment. Across my roles, I maintain a consistent focus on capital planning, risk management, asset stewardship and partnerships that deliver durable results. I also serve as a Board Member of WPC Energy Canada and have advised major sport and event organizations on sustainability, operational planning and stakeholder engagement. My experience spans collaboration with boards, governments, non-profits and industry to connect financial performance with environmental responsibility and social impact. I am based in British Columbia and welcome connections related to board service, digital risk, real assets, major projects and sustainability-driven transformation.
