A USAF veteran. As Deputy Garrison Manager, I provide critical leadership to maintain continuity between Budget Planning and Execution, Employee Recruitment and Talent Management, Major Project Planning and Execution, and Installation Modernization. I plan and execute the command’s priorities, across the installation through our Logistics Readiness Center, Public Works, Emergency Management, Family Morale Welfare & Recreation, Information Management, and Training Directorates. I encourage cooperation and coordinate efforts between directorates that ultimately supports expectations and furthers executive leadership goals. Mentor, coach, and train installation teams, solve complex problems, and increase efficiencies. Develop and provide strategic direction utilizing a multiple communication methods to build consensus and inspire a shared vision. Align resources, supporting an overall installation-wide budget of upwards of $300M, based on strategic direction and priorities while ensuring compliance with fiscal policies and procedures. Experienced, effective, and creative leader with comprehensive involvement leading teams in Housing Administrative enforcing and establishing policy and requirements governing management and administration of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni 's Family Housing (FH), Transient Housing, and Bachelor Housing program. Experienced in Infrastructure Project Management, Contingency and Construction of major systems operations. Expert advisor and technical consultant to top leadership in MCAS Iwakuni Housing regarding all echelons of Housing matters. Well versed to conduct meetings with Regional (Japan) Housing, Installation Leadership, Facilities Engineering, Wing and Group Commanders, Senior Commanders and key personnel of tenant activities. Formerly Chief accountability for all management aspects of Buildings and Grounds, Mechanical & Sanitation, Electrical and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, and Customer Service branch, to include the operation, maintenance and repair of utility systems, roads, grounds and real property facilities for a US Army post. Serves as Security Manager, Antiterrorism Manager, Emergency Management Coordinator, Shelter-In-Place Manager, and Public Access Defibrillators Program Coordinator for DPW.
