About David Crick

I'm a construction business development and sales specialist with over forty years’ extremely practical experience in the building industry; working in the main with smaller up-and-coming contractors and professional firms of all types. I'm also the Founder and Managing Director of Contractors Marketing Services. On a personal level I work closely with client companies to improve their business development, sales and marketing strategy: and very often am co-opted by them to act part-time within their team as an interim or short/medium-term BDM, Given my track record, I'm often involved in market intelligence, troubleshooting and training with clients. I work with client contractors to secure targeted contracts from small <£1m contracts to those worth over £20 million. To do this I am often embedded with a range of small and medium sized contractors in a variety of BDM roles. This experience, and my long track record of success in construction business development, led to the founding of Contractors Marketing Services. We provide skilled, tenacious and highly-motivated sales/business development staff who know the industry inside-out and are committed to our clients’ success. They work two days a month or more (in-house or from our own offices) as part of your own team, generating highly-targeted tenders and enquiries, enabling you to secure your business growth objectives year on year.
