About David Cross
After spending almost 26 years as a soldier in the REME in various roles, including, mechanic, team leader, workshop manager, supportability engineer, engineering leader, and instructor, I'm now embarking on my next career. Owning and running a First Aid training company and am looking to expand it to deliver other courses, including Health and Safety and Food Safety. I am a community first responder (CFR), a vital volunteer role in the ambulance service, especially in my rural area. This gives me some real-life experience in delivering realistic first-aid training. I am also a volunteer trainer for the other CFRs and deliver free BLS and AED courses to the public in our area. I volunteer at the Stowmarket Repair Cafe repairing electrical and mechanical equipment to keep more items out of landfill. I’m a Rock Climbing and Paddlesport Instructor and a regular blood platelet donor.
