About David Crothall

I was working with some contractors and found out a shocking reality. They were paying 45% of their income to the government! Blown away, I suggested we have a quick meeting to show them how I structured my income. A couple of the contractors followed my advice and saved over R30 a month, and this was only the beginning! My journey began when I started a financial company in 2012 and became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 2016. Whilst consulting at a client, I became involved in tax projects for China, North America and Europe and loved it! I then partnered with a South African company VATSolve and extended my tax knowledge in South Africa. Finally, my family has bought a "The Tax Shop" franchise and I am now ready to take my years of personal experience with companies, trusts and payroll and assist other companies in saving money. I am backed by a large team of trusted accountants while I find ways to optimise your tax. I am blessed with an awesome family and the ability to spend my days on IT, finance, taxes and karate.
