As a Manager of Operations at Purolator, I oversee various operations teams in a fast-moving courier environment, responsible for special projects, evening and weekend services, and external stakeholder relations. I have a Certificate in Transportation and Logistics from McGill University, and more than 14 years of experience in the last mile delivery industry, starting as a delivery driver and rising to a unit manager and then an operations manager. My core competencies include operations management, strategy, tactical planning, coaching, manufacturing process improvement, warehouse management, and new business development. I am passionate about improving operational standards, increasing productivity, and promoting a positive and motivated work environment for my employees. I manage, delegate, and supervise up to 125 employees with over 80 routes, and I am responsible for budgeting over $5M in annual salaries. I consistently achieve, and often exceed, the set operations objectives, and I communicate and implement policies effectively. I am also eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in the last mile delivery field.
