About David Delfosse

As the Vice President of Architecture at Ayres Associates, I am responsible for working closely with clients & building owners, design & engineering partners, general contractors, construction trade partners, suppliers, and fabricators to foster and lead collaborative project teams and create lasting relationships. I believe the key to successful project delivery is assembling an integrated team that can work together effectively and is committed to collaborative processes. This team relies on trust, transparent processes, ongoing information sharing, and effective communication. This team also relies on proactive utilization of design technology, such as BIM, that is critical in providing early detection of project constraints and opportunities. The initial development and continual use of a multidiscipline Execution Plan is also key and enables the team to leverage early contributions of expertise and knowledge from team members to create the roadmap for the complete project. This allows the entire team to realize their highest potentials and expands the value they provide throughout the whole project and not just at specific, limited points. As a result, the team can plan, design, build, manage, and operate as efficiently as possible and provide the greatest overall value.
