About David Dias

I’m a Finance Data Analyst working with the MCAPS Segment Finance team at Microsoft, as a vendor through JTA | The Data Scientists. I support the consolidation and automation of financial data, and help transform it into performance insights used by senior leadership. I work closely with business and operations teams to make sure the right information is available for better planning and decisions. Before this role, I worked on Business Intelligence projects using tools like Power BI, SQL, DAX, ETL processes (Azure Data Factory) and Excel. I also had the chance to lead a full BI project, from understanding business needs to delivering the final reporting solution. That experience helped me develop a more complete view of how data can support both day-to-day work and bigger decisions. I enjoy working in dynamic and collaborative environments, where I can take ownership and bring clarity to complex questions. I'm always looking to grow within my role and take on more responsibility, especially in areas where data supports leadership, strategy, and long-term impact.
