About David Dively

I strongly believe in, and advocate for, disability rights to allow people to live, work, and play in the community of their choice. We must advance the rights for Minnesotans with disabilities in physical access, digital access, and communication access. Furthermore, we must always continue to ensure service providers, PCAs, sign language interpreters, and other providers continue to grow their professions so that people with disabilities have fewer barriers and improved rights, quality of life, education, and employment. I believe in group-decision making, consensus-building, and diverse stakeholders having a seat at the table- with this, we can create system changes that improve the lives of Minnesotans. I prefer a coaching and soft-touch leadership approach rather than the transactional leadership model. I want to be the guide or the coach and the team be the heroes. I love finding ways to use technology to improve processes, efficiency, and to create exciting change. Creating growth that feels organic, from within, is compelling. Transactional decisions made top-down feel disempowering. Lover of Eagan, MN.
