About David Donaghy

About Me: Born and raised in Texas, I call the Dallas/Ft. Worth area home, with a special connection to the Rockwall community. I’m always open to connecting with people in and around the area, so feel free to reach out! Professional Experience: For the past decade, I’ve supported the 7-Eleven team in various capacities. My journey started with supply chain management, including store shelving supplies, advertising materials, and printing essentials for field support. Currently, I contribute in a Human Resources Coordinator role, focusing on I-9 compliance and resolving E-Verify issues. This transition into HR has been an exciting opportunity, and I’m committed to expanding my expertise in this field while working with an amazing team. I would love to connect with fellow HR professionals. Before joining 7-Eleven, I gained five years of experience in the hospitality industry, working for Omni Hotels and delivering exceptional front-line guest services. In addition to assisting guests with amenities, I coordinated reservations and transportation, and managed multiple tasks during peak times. It gave me an opportunity to develop my communication skills and refine my problem-solving skills. Hospitality left a positive impact in my development and would love to connect with folks in this field. For more details on my career journey, feel free to check out the experience section of my profile. Personal Interests: Outside of work, I’m passionate about learning new languages, exploring different cultures, and traveling. These interests not only fuel my curiosity but also create meaningful connections and great conversation starters. I am also a firm advocate for lifelong learning. A continuous learning mindset is critical for personal growth, career advancement, and becoming an asset in any role. I also strongly believe in the power of community and the opportunities it offers, particularly here on LinkedIn. Engaging with professionals from all corners of the world has enriched my experience and broadened my perspective. Having said that, I'd love to find out about you and invite you to reach out and connect with me either by connecting here or by email. Lastly, photography and videography have been long-standing passions of mine, especially in today’s digital landscape. For more information, feel free to check out my photography page here, website, Instagram or Facebook. I enjoy connecting with fellow photographers and creatives! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I invite you to connect with me.
