My time spent with Public Works so far has been an incredible experience. I have always had an interest in civil engineering and providing for the community I grew up in; this position allows me to do both! Every day brings something new to learn, and I wouldn't have it any other way. In short, I provide support that keeps our landfills operating and improving. They might look simple, but there's a fascinating amount of work that goes into them, from laws and regulations, down to what soil you have to use! Though my background and my EIT are in mechanical engineering, I've been inspired to pursue civil engineering for my eventual PE.
