About David Doyle

Transitionsing Naval Supply Officer currently serving as the Military Deputy and Chief of Staff at the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Prototyping and Experimentation (within the Office of Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering), I manage the day to day activities of a 160 person organization executing the development and demonstration of innovative technologies to address national security challenges. With 30 years of experience as a Supply Corps Officer in the US Navy, I have a strong background in supply management, expeditionary logistics, inventory control, financial management, contracting, information systems, operations analysis, material and operational logistics, fuels management, food service, and physical distribution. I hold a Master of Science in Operations Research (Logistics) from the Naval Postgraduate School. I completed the Advanced Program in Logistics and Technology (LOGTECH) from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and the Advanced Management Program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. I am certified in DAWIA Level II Contracting and DAWIA Level Life Cycle Logistics by the Defense Acquisition University. My skills include organizational management, operations management, personnel management, budget development, and supply chain operations.
