About David Drijkoningen

As the coordinator of Biomedical Sciences I coordinate processes and develop new policies and initiatives in this educational programme. I am part of the educational management team of the Master of Biomedical Sciences. I am in close cooperation with teachers and educational experts on one hand and educational organisation and logistics on the other hand. I translate new ideas and management decisions into policies and effective processes which ultimately benefit the learning experience and learning outcome of the biomedical students. I am contact person for lecturers, course coordinators, study advisors and students. In addition, I work as the coordinator of specific elements in the Bachelor (BSc) curricula of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. This includes the electives in the 2nd BSc year as well as the innovation projects (1st year BSc students) and research projects (2nd year BSc students) which are great examples of self-directed and team-based learning.
