Finance executive with extensive experience in accounting, financial analysis and reporting, business research, and business consulting in a variety of business settings. PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTING BANKING AND FINANCE HOSPITALITY AND MANUFACTURING My professional experience and skills spand 34 years of service with expertise as CFO, Controller, and Director of Accounting and a variety of other analytical capacities. Service in hospitality, banking, manufacturing, public accounting, non-profits, communications, education, and distribution organizations has allowed me to use my expertise in diverse organizations with a variety of organizational structures. I am a lecturer and speaker for community based organizations emphasizing adolescence exposure to business concepts. As a natural extension of my academic preparation and professional experience, I have used my life experiences to enhance the business and financial acumen in community organizations in the form of consulting, volunteering, leadership, and mentorship. Interests outside my career discipline include tennis, classical music, jazz, museum and art, and translating scholarly knowledge into practical use in the local, national, and global community. I enjoy working with communities to solve problems through education and scholarly discourse. My academic preparation include a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Phoenix, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pfeiffer University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from S.C. State University. I completed my terminal degree in 2012 and received the 2012 Quantitative Dissertation of the Year Award for my study of accounting in sacred institutions. I continue to work in industry in a financial capacity as a Director of Accounting and Adjunct Professor of Accounting.
