About David Edinger

David became a co-managing partner at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP, along with Sharon Vogel, on January 1, 2025. He has practiced law with Singleton Reynolds since March 2014. He has been a partner of the firm since January 2015, a member of its Conflicts Committee since January 2016, and a member of its Management Committee since January, 2017. He has been principal and mentor to many articling students and young lawyers. He is a 'lawyers' lawyer' and is a resource for his partners. Since joining Singleton Reynolds, David has expanded and deepened his commercial litigation practice in entertainment litigation, construction and infrastructure, surety bonding, construction procurement, director and officer liability, and employment law. He also handles a wide variety of commercial litigation, serving Canadian and international clients. In 1993, following his LLM from UCL, David was hired into Heenan Blaikie LLP's rapidly growing entertainment law group. His practice soon evolved to be primarily litigation-based. As the firm grew, his commercial litigation practice and range of expertise grew. He was a partner of that firm, sat on the firm's National Management Committee for a number of years and its Conflict Committee for nearly 10 years.
