About David Ehret

I started with my B.S. in health care administration from UCONN. I worked on a sales team for Aetna, selling health insurance plans to companies in the MidWest with greater than employees. While at Aetna I was promoted twice to a Senior Sales Consultant. I left Aetna to pursue a career in nursing. I attended UMass Amhersts accelerated B.S. Nursing program. I was in an honors research course while I attended the program and graduated as valedictorian. Upon graduating, I started as the first new graduate in Baystate Medical Centers level 1 trauma emergency department. At Baystate, I progressed to have many responsibilities as team lead and to orient new nurses and students. I left Baystate in 2018 to start travel nursing. I have subsequently worked across the country in level 1 emergency departments at prestigious hospitals including Stanford and UC Health. With my dual degrees in Health Care Administration and Nursing I would like to pursue a career that can enhance the healthcare system from a different standpoint.
