About David Farrow

Several years in the workforce has instilled upon me a high level of understanding for many different industries and vocations. At the age of 13 selling catalogue merchandise to my neighbours led to working in hospitality industry once coming of age to work for employers. Over 30 years of serving the hospitality industry earning certificates from the American Hotel Motel Association entry level to management in franchise, corporate, and family establishments. Creating processes, training staff, being trained by sr. staff for customer service, health and safety, development, marketing products and specials. The training I received and provided has been successfully transferred to each new adventure and learning experience. Outside of the above, my experience reaches into several other industries such as retail clothing sales and direct vacuum cleaner sales (manager), strike security and private investigations, general construction, roofing, handyman, landscaping, snow removal, manufacturing, warehousing, cross dock operations, transportation, logistics management (some courses with CITT), retail grocery, rental management, condominium property management, process serving, writing and presenting small claims (successfully), budgeting, financial planning, some insurance and mutual fund training, crypto currency exchange platform development office process and policy, CEO, COO, and President. 12 years Property Management and remaining years were filled with retail, security, and traffic/transportation warehousing I also have trained many people in my years to complete tasks and processes according to the company standards and value. With critical thinking and higher ability of analytical reasoning I can complete forensic type research on process or back track in statements and communications to resolve disputes or confirm proper procedures and processes have been followed. Writing chain of custody operating procedures, standard operating procedures, risk assessments of property, equipment, and loss, creating standard forms, working with IT to develop cross company automation, health and safety policy and procedures, hazardous materials handling, Ministry of Labour compliance, and much more. I am excited to become a part of the team however, I can work very independently and lead a team as well. Provide me a task and a deadline and I will meet the challenge, I love to share what I know without being condescending.
