About David Felsenthal

I am a multi-disciplinary strategist and problem solver with an enormous breadth of technical, business, and life experience. I have held founding, management, and technical positions in multiple successful start-up companies, as well as run a successful consulting practice. I hold 7 patents relating to complex semiconductor and disk drive manufacturing equipment. I have held board positions for both closely held small and medium businesses and a non-profit volunteer organization. Areas in which I have been a key technical contributor include such disparate areas as plasma processing systems, ophthalmic surgical lasers, and information technology. My areas of technological interest and experience include over 35 years of mechanical, electrical, software, plasma and high voltage research and development. I am also an accomplished sailboat skipper, having won may awards from fully crewed coastal to solo offshore distance races. I am on a mission to teach others how to step back from problems they encounter and understand them in the context of the big picture.
