About David Filipiak

I have over 38 years of experience in water resource engineering and planning. I have worked with a variety of public and private clients to develop stormwater management plans that meet the evolving regulatory environment for both site and linear projects. I excel at listening to the needs of stakeholders and identifying practical yet innovative stormwater management solutions that provide the needed performance, are constructible, meet maintenance expectations, and provide value to the community. I have worked with local, state, and federal agencies through many high profile projects, providing early coordination with all regulatory stakeholders to identify common issues and solutions. I have served on numerous research committees funded by the Local Road Research Board (LRRB) and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) tied to a variety of water resource topics, as well as additional stormwater research projects through other agencies.
