About David Fore

I am a therapist, personal development coach, group-process leader, and yoga teacher. I offer psychotherapy and grief counseling to individual children and adults, couples, families, and groups. My focus is on helping people liberate themselves from conflicting self-perceptions and discover their authentic truth, enabling them to lead fuller lives. I currently see clients at Earth Circles Counseling Center and Pathways Hospice. I also offer coaching to people focused on their personal, professional, creative, and spiritual growth. Over the years, I have supported hundreds of professionals in creative, educational, activist, leadership, and technology environments. I also facilitate process groups with diverse objectives, ranging from research to invention, prioritization to decision-making, and product design to branding. Some of these groups are non-clinical in nature where participants support one another in the wake of loss and/or life transitions. Finally, I am a seasoned yogi and a YRT-registered yoga teacher. I help my people find their center, deepen their awareness, channel their energy, and recover from injuries (physical and otherwise). My approach is trauma-informed and spiritually inspired, placing greater emphasis on pranayama, meditation, and philosophy than on asana.(Not that I dont like to get my sweat on!) Before entering the mental health field, I was a designer, inventor, writer, researcher. Among other activities, I led a health-tech nonprofit funded by the NIH and other organizations that researched social ecosystems, and created new products, systems, and organizations. Through the course of that career I managed and mentored dozens of staff, and also taught hands-on research and design classes to hundreds of professionals who have since become leaders in their own right.
