About David Forrest

I bring extensive management experience from both the retail sector and the United States Air Force. Before joining the Air Force, I completed my Personal Computer Technician and CompTIA A+ Certification. During my Air Force tenure, I developed strong followership and leadership skills, leading teams and peers effectively. My career in the Air Force spans diverse roles, including 3 years on the flight line, 5.5 years in the jet engine test cell, and 6 years in backshop intermediate maintenance. I have maintained five aircraft engines (TF33, TF34, F100, F110-100/129) across various global assignments in the United States, Japan, and Europe. Additionally, I served as a Wing FOD Manager and Quality Assurance Superintendent during a 6-month deployment. As a First Sergeant for the past 3 years, I have advised five commanders across four Air Force units, including during a 5-month deployment, on the health, morale, welfare, and readiness of 500 officers, enlisted personnel, and civilians. Throughout my career, I have been recognized with several awards, coins, and nominations for my contributions. As I prepare to transition to the civilian sector beginning in 2026, I am excited to bring over 20 years of experience to create and maintain highly effective teams, a fantastic work environment, and a positive culture in my future role.
