I am a recognised senior NHS leader having graduating from the national NHS Top Leaders Programme. I have extensive experience in healthcare management, strategy, governance, team & organisational development and service improvement. I have an impressive track record of implementing major transformational change as well as leading teams, services and organisations through continuous improvement drives in order to deliver on key service, financial and performance requirements. Successes include: • Securing whole system buy-in to radically overhaul a £23bn commissioning budget through a co-ordinated approach to the creation of various forms of Integrated Care Partnerships (ICPs) in 8 different CCGs. • Building key strategic relationships between organisations & wider senior partners, successfully bringing together a combined £140m QIPP programme into a single management structure. • Devised and led the implementation of a new GP-led / managerially supported commissioning operating model • Leading a theatre turnaround programme, securing £1m business growth through my approach to better scheduling & theatre planning, a low acuity shift drive, and addressing surgeon productivity • Leading the turnaround of a national communications service transforming internal operations, client satisfaction and turning a forecast c £1m loss in year one, to a £¼ m surplus; establishing pipeline growth of £300k by Q2 and then doubling the size of the business through acquisition. • Delivering a £1bn balanced budget as part of the Executive Team in a specialised commissioning group by overhauling governance structures, operations, planning and business intelligence.
