About David Gallagher

Hello! I am an Amsterdam based, data analytics developer and manager who has been designing and developing data analytics solutions since moving to the Netherlands in 2010. My goal is to develop relevant, engaging analytics that support organisations in data-driven decision making. After graduating from the University of the West of Scotland with an honors degree in E-Business, I decided to pursue a career that enabled me to develop my technical skills while acting as a business partner to many different business functions. There was no formal computer science, mathematics, or statistics education for me. I progressed by fulfilling roles in network support, ERP implementations, management reporting, data warehousing, business intelligence, and advanced analytics. I value continuous learning, and currently I'm expanding my data science toolkit, while searching for opportunities to put it to use. I enjoy working in a multicultural environment and living life in Amsterdam.
