About David Gao

I'm a business analyst with a real passion for automation. If you want something automated, I'm eager to tackle the challenge and find a solution (or at least explore the possibilities!). I enjoy streamlining processes and freeing up people's time to focus on strategic initiatives. For example, I developed an automated payroll system for Boba Rabbit, the startup I work with, and created a finance calculator for Article that has saved them thousands of labor hours. Even outside of work, I like to tinker with automation – I built a Python-powered fantasy premier league picker, though my current ranking suggests there's still room for improvement! It's a fun way to learn and experiment. Beyond automation, I leverage my data science skills to deliver actionable insights to businesses. I've successfully validated and quantified the financial impact of several initiatives at Article, using machine learning and statistical inference to inform key decisions. I'm always looking for opportunities to learn and grow, and I thrive in collaborative environments. If you're seeking a driven and results-oriented analyst with a blend of technical skills and a passion for efficiency, I'd love to connect and discuss how I can contribute to your team.
