About David Gardner

So, you’d like to know more about me? Here’s some of my story: When I started college, I wanted to be a strength and conditioning coach. I landed an internship with one of the best college athletic programs in the country (go Gators!) and trained future professional athletes. I got a degree in exercise and sport sciences and then another in sport management. I was a personal trainer and assistant manager at a gym while working on my MS in sport management. When I finished grad school, the right opportunities weren’t there in sports, so I made the pivot to education. I spent more than 16 years serving underprivileged communities in Florida while working closely with 21st Century Community Learning Centers throughout the state. I served as statewide Director of Evaluation at the University of Florida for the first six years. For the next 10 years, I was Vice President and Lead Evaluator at CASPER, which is a leader in Educational Program Evaluation, Professional Development, and Grant Writing. At the end of my time with CASPER, I went back to school to get my Executive MBA. Now I’m continuing to do work that was made for me and my skills. I get people closer to their dreams.
