Hello! I'm David Gerbuz. I'll update the bio soon! Below is from my product marketing role. I co-led a portfolio of software products (SaaS solutions) that solve workforce-related problems for our clients at PwC. I wear many hats in my role and throughout the day I collaborate with multiple teams at the same time. A "typical day" may include creating a go-to-market (GTM) strategy, creating a new story + messaging around our solutions, and implementing those new messages into our suite of sales-supporting materials. There's a lot of project management, stakeholder management, and maneuvering a large matrix-organization involved. As a product marketer here are a few things I've accomplished so far: • Launched GTM strategies for our products, partnering with sales to create a smooth lead-gen experience • Created tons of supporting assets such as internal prospecting guides, external decks, brochures, and webpages (these take a lot of coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders) • Developed cross-firm relationships to take our products to market in an integration fashion, leveraging our alliances and sector marketing teams • Initiated the 1st case study for a smaller portfolio of products • Engaged with analyst firms to gain market validation and adjust marketing strategy • Coordinated market analysis with 3rd party firms to better understand our target buyers and competitors, then took that information to tweak our content strategy Before I became a product marketer I've worked in branding / content strategy.
