I am a highly experienced business lawyer with a focus on lending and restructuring/insolvency matters. I provide value and knowledge to lenders by advising them on structuring their security and have worked on numerous transactions involving multiple jurisdictions. I have developed a deep knowledge of Bank Act security along with Saskatchewan legislation and case law that can affect lenders’ ability to obtain recovery. In my insolvency and restructuring practice I mainly represent creditors and court officers, such as receivers, along with security enforcement on behalf of creditors. I also have represented parties in bankruptcies, proposals to creditors, receiverships and CCAA matters. I also actively practise in other business law fields such as corporate/commercial, M&A, Aboriginal business, and technology licensing.
